[NEohioPAL] Firestone HIgh School seeks Shop Foreman / Set Builder (paid position) for upcoming season

Harvey S. Firestone High School in Akron, Ohio, is now accepting
applications for a Theatre Shop Foreman / Set Builder for the 2008-09
theatre season and school year. The position reports to and works
closely with the theatre director on the design, plan and construction
of all scenery for theatrical production.

This position is to be responsible for setting an appropriate work
schedule and recruiting a student crew to plan, build, paint, and
strike
scenery. This position will also work closely with a student-centered
technical theatre board called the Committee of Seven.

Firestone Theatre is a highly respected, pre-professional theatre
education program. Harvey S. Firestone High School is the home to
Akron's high school "magnet" visual and performing arts program.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours generally scheduled
for weekdays between the hours of 3:30 and 7:00 p.m.
