The Nia Coffeehouse Open Mic Poetry Series convenes tonight at the Coventry Village Library with music provided by Vince Robinson & The Jazz Poets.

Bring your new, bring your old, bring someone else's and read in an intimate setting with or without a music background.

The Nia Coffeehouse is one of Cleveland's best kept secrets.  Drummer Reggie Holmes has performed with jazz greats Dizzy Gillespie, Ahmad Jamal, Pharoah Sanders and Sonny Stitt, to name a few.  Bassist Derrick James has performed on the same stages as many contemporary jazz artists.  You get to hear them for free.....and the coffee is included.

The library is located at 1925 Coventry Road near the intersection of Euclid Heights Boulevard in Cleveland Heights.  Doors open at 6 pm.

This event is free and open to the public and poets of all ages.
