December 24th, 1910, the penal colony on Cayenne, French Guiana. It is 104 degrees in the shade and convicts Joseph, Jules, and Alfred are repairing the roof of a family in danger of having no roof at all. Kindly, scatter-brained Felix Ducotel has invested his life's savings in a gold mine somewhere and made a mess of running his Cousin Henri's general store. And now heartless cousin Henri is due from France to inspect the books- bringing his shallow nephew Paul along to end the engagement between him and Felix's daughter Marie-Louise. Merry Christmas 
 
  The three convicts, knowing all through their perch on the roof, cast themselves as angels to the hapless family and, employing their own peculiar methods, set about setting things right. 
 
Director is seeking a cast of 7 men ages 18-60 and 3 women ages 18-60.  (The director is considering casting the role of Henri as a woman).  Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
