AUDITION NOTICE
"I Love You Because"
14TH Street Theatre
PlayhouseSquare

[cid:image001.gif at 01C903A1.FB94F0F0]      Auditions will be held for "I Love You Because" on Friday, September 19th  between 12 & 6PM and on Saturday, September 20th between 10AM & 3PM, at the 14th Street Theatre, located at 2047 East 14th Street (enter through the front door of the theatre).

[cid:image001.gif at 01C903A1.FB94F0F0]      Callbacks will be held on Monday, September 22nd, between 6:30 & 10:30PM.

               * Marcy Fitzwilliams:  24. Photographer. Soprano, strong mix to F, belt to D.
              * Diana Bingley:  27. Actuary. Alto to D.
              * Justin Bennet:  25. Greeting card writer. Tenor to A.
              * Jeff Bennet:  28. Pedi-cab driver. Baritenor to G (optional A).
               * Neighbor / Chinese Food Restaurant Manager / NYC Woman:  Multiple role. Soprano.
              * Bartender / Barista / Waiter / Chinese Food Restaurant Waiter / NYC Man: Multiple role. Baritenor.
              * Female Understudy
              * Male Understudy

[cid:image001.gif at 01C903A1.FB94F0F0]      Actors should be prepared to sing a short up-tempo and a short ballad - contemporary music, theatre or pop - and it is fine to sing a song from the show.  An accompanist will be provided.

[cid:image002.gif at 01C903A1.FB94F0F0]       "I Love You Because" will open in the 14th Street Theatre on January 21, 2009 and will run (tentatively) until May 17, 2009

[cid:image002.gif at 01C903A1.FB94F0F0]       Directed by Victoria Bussert, choreographed by Martín Céspedes, Matthew Webb will be the Music Director.
