      Advanced Drawing   Age 8 - 12  Tues.  6:15 - 7:30 pm  Denise Ivey Telep
Course will review the techniques used for masterful drawing, including line work, shading, composition, texture, contrast, use of positive and negative space and overall creativity. Students that have a beginning grasp of being able to draw what they see, as well as advanced students will benefit from this course. 11x14 Spiral Sketchpad and drawing pencil set required. $120.00 
      Realistic Acrylic Painting Beginner  Age 12 - Adult Tues. 7:30 to 8:30pm    Denise Ivey Telep
This class will teach color mixing, composition, contrast, shading tricks, use of the brush, and painting elements that make for dynamic finished products! If you thought you could never make a beautiful piece of art, this class will awaken your artist's eye and teach the skill to accomplish painting whatever you see. $120.00 
        Let’s Draw!   Age 8-13   Wed. 5:00-6:00 pm         Nancy Martin
Everyone can learn how to draw or improve on what they already know! Come and discover new techniques in drawing and have fun creating. This class will cover the basics in drawing simple objects, perspective, animals and more. Main supplies are: 9x12 sketchpad, pencils/eraser, ruler, colored pencil set of at least 12. It would be a good idea to bring in pictures of things you'd like to draw, such as animals, scenery, etc.  $150 (bring own supplies)

Take the next step... Challenge the artist in you! Class focuses on simplification of form opening the way to the abstract and encouraging freedom of expression rather than realism. Create acrylic paintings in your own original style.  $180 + $15 supply fee

Come & Create some FUN!  Emerging artists use paint to explore basics of art as they discover and reveal their unique creative abilities. Students create pieces of art inspired by master

Learn the basic elements, tools, and techniques needed to develop professional photo effects and story boards for animations. Create palettes, learn functions of various tools, as well as the relationship that Adobe Photoshop shares with the many other Adobe programs. Be inspired by the leading graphic artists of today’s design industry such as Nike, American Greetings, and My Space.  $144

Learn the basic elements, tools and techniques needed to create professional artwork from postage stamps to billboards. Create palettes, learn functions of various tools, as well as its ability to create stunning typography and logo development.       Microsoft Word  Age  16-Adult   Tues.  6:30-7:30pm         Brian D. Wade
Learn the basic fundamentals of Microsoft word from A-Z, such as creating a new document and the tools various functions. Create a bio, resume, flyer, greeting card or professional letter for your everyday life. Microsoft Word is a software used by the top business professionals of today. $144

$25 annual registration fee is in addition to class fees noted above. One time per student registration fee per academic year is charged each fall. 
Registrations received in person at Church on the Rise or by mail with check made to Storm Center
