Kent State Stark Theatre Announces Open Auditions for The Man Who Came to Dinner



(Jackson Township, OH - August 27, 2008)  Kent State University Stark Campus Theatre has announced open auditions for the season's second theatrical event, The Man Who Came to Dinner, by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart.



Auditions will be held from 7-9:30 p.m. on September 8 and 9 in the theatre of the Fine Arts Building, 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township.



The production will be performed on October 31, November 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9 in the Kent State Stark Theatre. Roles are available for 15 men and 9 women. It is preferred that men auditioning for the role of "Beverly Carlton" know how to sing and play the piano. A scene from the play must be performed for the audition.



Scripts are available for periods of 24 hours from the secretary of the Fine Arts Building, Monday through Friday, during business hours. Appointments are not required.
