[NEohioPAL] Beck Holds Auditions for GREY GARDENS

Beck Center is pleased to announce auditions for the roles below for our upcoming production of the acclaimed musical (and Cleveland Premiere) "Grey Gardens", directed by Victoria Bussert. The Musical Director is Jodie Ricci, and the Choreographer?is Martin Cespedes.

Auditions are BY APPOINTMENT Only. You may reserve your slot by calling 216-521-2540. The box office reps are taking appointments beginning Friday, Sept. 5th at 9AM.

Please prepare a single vocal selection no longer than 90 seconds. Bring sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. 

Audition dates:? Thursday, Sept. 25th from 6PM to 8PM? and Friday, Sept. 26th from 6PM to 8PM. Callbacks will be Monday evening, Sept. 29th.

These are Non-Equity roles ONLY. Beck Center offers financial stipends to actors 18 and older.

Performance Dates for "Grey Gardens" are Feb. 27th thru March 29th, 2009. Rehearsals will begin in late January.

"Little Edie Beale" - early 20's, very beautiful with an undercurrent of sexiness she has trouble hiding, strong legit soprano, good mover.

Joseph Patrick Kennedy Jr./Jerry - early - mid 20's, extremely handsome, exudes charm and confidence, charismatic, bari-tenor, good mover.?? Must be strong actor, plays? out-of-it neighbor, Jerry, in Act II.

Jackie Bouvier -? looks 12 years old, pretty, feminine, classy even at this age, strong singer and dancer.

Lee Bouvier - looks 8 years old, a tomboy, a lot of energy, spirited, good singer and dancer.
