Messiah rehearsals begin this Saturday, September 13 in Canton.

Vocalists and woodwind instrumentalists are needed for a community chorus
and woodwind orchestra to perfom Handel's Messiah. The chorus and
orchestra are open to anyone who wishes to perform this masterpiece, and
no audition is required. This work has been orchestrated for a woodwind
orchestra to accompany the chorus. We will be performing the entire
oratorio, not just the "Christmas portion". Rehearsals will be held on
Saturday afternoons, beginning on September 13. Chorus rehearsals are
from 12:00 Noon - 2:00 PM and orchestra rehearsals are from 2:30 - 4:30
PM.  The performances will be on Friday, Dec 5 and Saturday Dec 6 at 7:00
PM and also on Sunday Dec 7 at 4:00 PM. All rehearsals and performances
will be held at First Church of the Resurrection, 901 E Tuscarawas St in
