*Saturday, October 4, 2008 3p.m. and 5p.m.: MY FAVORITE MONSTERS will be presented at the Maritime Museum of Sandusky as part of their Boo At The Bay program. The 3p.m. performance will be at the Sandusky Bay Pavilion (near the Battery Park Marina and Meigs St. Pier) and the 5p.m. performance will be at the museum at 125 Meigs St. in Sandusky. This storytelling program features Great Lakes monsters and other creatures including Zelda Zebra Mussel and Erie Mary. The program is open to the public. Tickets are $1.00. *Saturday, October 11, 2008 1p.m.: MEET MARGARET BOURKE-WHITE at the Pleasant Hills Unite Methodist Church; 13200 E, Bagley Rd.; Middleburg Hts.Alisa Riccardi will portray this Cleveland photographer has she talks about her experiences on the front lines during WWII.This program is open to the public; tickets are $7.50.For information and tickets call Laura 440-845-1244or e-mail her at mail at pleasanthills.org. *Wednesday, October 29, 2008 7p.m.: Get in the spirit at the Huron Library; 333 Williams St.; Huron, Ohio with spooky stories.Bette Lou Higgins will present GHOSTS OF SEA AND SHORE:STORIES FROM OHIO AND THE INLAND SEAS.Join in the fun and find out about the ghosts of Johnson's Island, the Franklin Castle and the Lake Erie Monster to name a few!This program is FREE and open to the public.For more information, call the library at 419-433-5009 or visit them at www.huronlibrary.org.
*Friday, October 31, 2008, 10am to noon: Get in the spirit and find out about GHOSTS OF OHIO AND THE GREAT LAKES at the Center for Lifelong Learning at Lorain County Community College. Join us for a morning of fun and historical stories sure to make your Halloween a real treat! Find out about some of the Great Lakes monsters and meet some other interesting characters of the Inland Seas. Then return to land for some OHIO GHOST STORIES. Monsters, refreshment break, Ghosts, Q & A  – Tickets are $14.
