[NEohioPAL] Need advice about hiring a stand-up comic

This is as good a place to start as any.  I'm thinking about using a
stand-up comedian at our homecoming dance.  I'm not looking for a headliner
or top of the line person, just someone who can make high school students
laugh for about a half-hour or so.  What I need to know is:  What is the
going rate for such a person? And . . . Where can I go to find one?  The
dance is in Akron, OH
