**WRITING ON YOUR FEET**
A 3 week intensive on Writing for Solo Performance
Taught by award-winning playwright/performer Sarah Morton
Are you interested in creating solo work, but afraid to try it, because you
think you’re
‘not a writer?’ Are you a writer or performer looking for ways to jump
start the
creative process?
This 3- session intensive workshop will introduce you to alternative ways of
creating solo work. We will move through a series of physical and
improvisational exercises to spark ideas for stories and characters, and then explore
ways to ‘get it down’ on paper and shape your discoveries into dynamic,
theatrical monologues. All levels of experience are welcome!
Workshop meets for 3 consecutive Monday evenings:
October 13th, 20th, and 27th from 6:30-9:30 pm *
at Loganberry Books on Larchmere Blvd in Shaker Heights.
* Students must be able to attend all 3 sessions. Please check your schedule
carefully before registering.
Investment: $ 100 if registered by September 30th.
$ 110 after September 30.
Class is limited to 8 students. Please register early.
