[NEohioPAL] Politics

Very valid point. This is my concern as well - on top of many other concerns I have with Obama/Biden. I am one of those very rare conservative-republican thespians.

Briefly - very briefly:
1) I do not apologize for my passion for the unborn. This will always keep me from becoming a Democrat, unless the party changes its position on abortion. And it'll never happen!
2) We are voting for the person who will assume position of commander-in-chief. Like it or not, we are at war. I prefer to have a person at the helm who has seen war first-hand and understands exactly what is at stake.
3) Also, I have serious issues with national healthcare. Our family has had personal experience with GB's national healthcare system and I lost my mother-in-law because of it. To be fair, here are some of the pros & cons, in a nutshell.
4) As a homeschooling family, I like to keep government regulations regarding the education of my children OUT of our home. No one on the federal, state, or local level knows my autistic child better than I do. I pay taxes which allow other families to take advantage of the public school system, even though I get no benefit at all. Fine. Every child deserves a good education any way they can get it. We choose to educate from our home environment. We do not need more regulations from the state of Ohio than we already have, thank you. And I'm not thrilled with either candidate on that issue.

Hey, I'm not saying that McCain or Palin are flawless - I don't agree with everything any candidate has to say. However, I - like everyone else - have to vote my conscious. When all is weighed in the balance, this little thespian chickadee is voting McCain/Palin in November.

And I love all my democrat friends very much, in spite of what you think of my views and how you spit on my elephant! ;-)

I am scared as well but for very different reasons. Notice the tap dancing around the use of the phrase " redistribution of wealth" by the Obama campaign? Know why?

This is the first frontal assault by socialists raised in the 50's, 60's and 70's against the core of what makes America what it is, a place where you can succeed or fail based upon your individual efforts and you can fall off of the horse and have the opportunity to climb back on.

This frightens me more than a vice presidential candidate. To believe for one moment that a vice president assuming the presidency happens in a vacuum or that the legislative or judiciary will relinquish their roles to some kind of dictatorship headed by a successor is total nonsense.

If there is a struggle, it will be whether the red flag flies over
 Washington.
