TO HOLD AUDITIONS ON
 TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2008 
FOR THE PREMIER HOLIDAY PRODUCTION OF CHRISTOPHER 
POP-IN-KINS 
 
CANTON, OHIO –  The Harmony Players, one of Canton’s newest theatrical performance groups, will hold auditions on Tuesday October 7, 2008 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Kathleen Howland Theater in the lower level of Second April Galerie & Studios at 324 Cleveland Avenue NW, Canton, Ohio for the upcoming premier holiday performance of Christopher Pop-In-Kins, the Musical. Ages eight and up are encouraged to audition, as a large cast is needed. Characters include Christopher Pop-In-Kins, Santa, Mrs. Claus, the Elves, the Reindeer, Bob Humbug, Snow People, and other whimsical characters from the North Pole. Simply bring a prepared song and be ready to perform during audition hours. 
 
Based upon a story by Flora Johnson of Atwater, Ohio published and introduced to the region in 1985, Christopher Pop-In-Kins the Musical is a delightful story of Santa’s first children’s Christmas elf. Written by our own Edward Kuntzman, the musical will feature music from Gilbert & Sullivan. Performances are scheduled for three consecutive weekends beginning Friday, November 28, 2008 with performances Friday’s at 8:00 pm, Saturdays at 2:30 and 8:00 pm, and Sundays at 2:30 pm with the exception of First Friday, December 5th, when special festivities are planned including a visit from Mr. & Mrs. Claus.

About Christopher Pop-In-Kins 
Christopher Pop-In-Kins Pops In was written and published in 1985 by Flora Johnson of Atwater, Ohio. The story of an elf who longs to visit real boys and girls, Christopher Pop-In-Kins receives Santa’s special permission to arrive in a child’s home just after Thanksgiving, and stay until just before Christmas Eve.
