Our world is obsessed with all things PHYSICAL, and it treasures material possessions above virtually all else.  So it is increasingly difficult to recognize the SPIRITUAL aspects of life’s many common elements, the REAL Treasures Among Us.
 
Treasures Among Us is the theme of this year’s Universal Being 2008 Conference.  Speakers include:
 
DAVID RIES (VP of SOL Association for Research) Dave’s lecture will describe the treasures we have in music:
“MUSIC: ENERGY FOR THE SOUL”
Ries will delve into some amazing revelations on music and mankind.  The information has been given to us from The Council, which speaks to humanity through the trances of William Allen LePar.  Ries will present the evolution of music and will display some interesting items dating back to Edison’s historic phonograph technology
 
ADENE KELLER (Cardiovascular nurse)  Is food the least appreciated treasure of all?  Are we really what we eat?  Most foods prepared for modern man have little in common with the treasures offered by nature.  Keller’s presentation:
“WHAT IS YOUR FOOD ATTITUDE, AND
HOW CAN IT AFFECT YOUR HEALTH?”
Keller will discuss the attitudes we bring to the table and their effects on our health and our world.  She will back up here words by preparing some food that man was meant to consume…samples included!
 
DIANNE C. DAUGHERTY (An Intensive Care Nurse) & student of Qigong)  The abilities to enhance our own spiritual awareness and to recharge and heal the physical are treasures either unknown or ignored by many.  Dianne C. Daugherty will demonstrate an Eastern discipline that holds such potential for its practitioners:  
QIGONG
Dougherty calls this Chinese method of self-improvement “an amazing practice” and says her presentation will include leading the audience in the first of nine Qigong breathing levels.  (comfortable clothing recommended)
