ATTENTION IMPROV ACTORS!!!

The College Club of Cleveland is presenting an original  member written production "Murder in the Mansion" during a dinner on November 21, and 22. This charity event helps women re-enter society
and further their education after prison confinement, with scholarships.

Our "perfect" lead role is for a commanding "detective"....who can improvise and "act" the expansive
role without a totally detailed script. The plot outline is basic: the mistress of the mansion is murdered during dinner and there are a 1/2 dozen suspects due to her previous manipulation of the family fortune.
The Detective happens to be a guest and solves the mystery along with bumbling help from
cast members.

We want a boisterous detective, not a Colombo, as most of the dinner attendees will be older and
may not grasp or hear the subtleties of delivery!  Since this is a charity event, a small remuneration
is available for each performance for the role of Detective.  The action will partly occur among the
dinner tables so mobility is an issue.

Time commitment: We expect 3 rehearsals and 2 evening performances, Nov 21 and 22.  If
sales warrant, a Sunday matinee or second weekend of dinners would be held.

This may be an opportunity for a repeat event several times a year.
