CSU STAGE, in conjunction with the CSU Dramatic Arts Program, announces
their Halloween production, /Night of the Living Dead/, transplanted to
the stage from the classic George Romero film by John Paul Soto and
James Kosmatka/./
The production, which will take place in the CSU Factory Theatre, is
entirely student-generated, featuring student actors, designers,
directors and administrators. Sure to be a cult phenomenon,
co-directors Kosmatka and Soto are pulling out all the stops, with a
provocative, in-yr-face multi-media production style emphasizing
violence and bloodshed. With inspirations ranging from Antonin Artaud
to Fritz Lang to Sam Raimi, the directors are crafting an exciting new
take on the classic thriller.
/Night of the Living Dead /runs for only six performances, as follows:
October 24th and 25th, 10pm
October 31st, November 1st, 8pm
October 31st, 11:59pm
November 2nd, 7pm
Tickets are $10 general admission, $5 for students, seniors and CSU
faculty/staff. For ticket reservations, call the box office at
