Actress Needed for "Helen" in"The Miracle Worker"



Following last week's auditions,

G. B. Community Theatre at the Ashtabula Arts Center

is still seeking an actress

age 9 to 16

 to play the physically and emotionally challenging role of "Helen"

in "The Miracle Worker"

written by William Gibson

and directed by Stephen Rhodes.





Gibson's stirring dramatization of the story of Helen Keller is one of the
most successful and warmly admired plays filled with some of the most
turbulent, violent, and emotion-packed scenes ever presented on the stage.



Performance dates will be January 23, 24, 25, 30, 31, February 1, 6, and 7,
2009.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows will begin at 8 p.m.  Sunday matinees
begin at 2 p.m.



All stage actors are volunteers.  No payment will be made.
