Regional Premier of
Nixon's Nixon
Opens at Actors' Summit

Actors' Summit Theater announces the second play of its 10th season,
Nixon's Nixon, a comic drama by Russell Lees. The play will have a
preview performance on Thursday, October 23, 2008, and will play through
Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Actors' Summit Theater in downtown Hudson.
The play is performed Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays at 8 PM and
Sundays at 2 PM.

The Play
Nixon's Nixon is a jazz riff on contemporary history. Though based on
the facts of the Nixon administration, this piece is pure conjecture.
What happened the night before Nixon's resignation? The dialogue between
President Richard M. Nixon and his closest advisor, Henry Kissinger,
examines the issues behind the controversial duo. How can a presidency
be both the greatest blunder of the century and also represent
significant forward motion in international relations? The play is both
a political satire and a serious examination of Nixon's accomplishments.
Fueled by alcohol, the dynamic duo replays their greatest political
accomplishments, taking turns portraying Leonid Brezhnev, Golda Meir,
and Mao Zedung.

Caution: Not all "expletives deleted" (R for strong language.)
