Clague Playhouse presents the musical comedy, Radio Gals, Book, Music and Lyrics by Mike Craver & Mark Hardwick, and directed by Bernice Bolek with music direction by Jayne Bartish-Kacik, original choreography by Donald Squires and restaged by Rachael K. Palermo.  The show opens Friday, November 7, 2008 and runs through Sunday, December 7, 2008 (November 8 and December 6 are sold out and there is no performance on Sunday, November 9 or Thanksgiving, November 27).

Show Times are Thursday through Saturday at 8:00pm and Sunday at 2:00pm.

Tickets are $11-13 and may be purchased by calling the Box Office, 440-331-0403, Wednesday - Saturday 1:00-6:00pm.

Back by popular demand.  Set in Arkansas in the 1920's, a wacky quintet of singers/musicians gather daily in Hazel C. Hunt’s Parlor to broadcast their rib-tickling songs and chatter on a radio transmitter (Station WGAL), which Hazel received as a retirement gift as a music teacher.  But Hazel’s habit of “channel wandering” reaches listeners as far away as Montreal and Manhattan, attracting the federal government to rescue the airways from these interlopers.


A free reception for the opening night patrons follows the performance where there will be an opportunity to meet the cast and the gallery artist.
