         .  The actresses are currently featured on television episodes of "Wake 
               Up and Live with the Arts," a local-access show airing on Cox Cable and 
               Cleveland Cable Access Channel (CCAC),. The "TV Divas" episodes air at 
9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, Oct. 31 and Nov. 7 on Cox, ch. 45,
and
on CCAC, Monday, Oct. 27, Nov. 3 and Nov. 10, ch. 197

       .   An excerpt from "TV Divas" is scheduled for Channel 5's public-affairs 
          program Kaleidoscope hosted by Bibb Leon, at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9.

They are ‘Sassy and Classy Sistahs,’ who have over 200 years total experience in local and national theatre and will be featured in WAKE UP And LIVE’s “PlayActs” Performances, Sunday, November 9th 2008, at the Brooks Theatre, Cleveland Play House.  

Local actresses Maxine Brown, Eva Withers-Evans, Jean "Granny" Hawkins, Norma Powell and Angela Winborn appear as  Claire Huxtable, Louise Jefferson and other favorite black television characters  in the one-act play, "TV Divas: Sistahs and Their Mistahs." written by Wake Up and Live playwright-in-residence Gary Webster.
The memorable TV divas are Sapphire Stevens (Withers-Evans) from "Amos and Andy," Louise Jefferson (Winborn) and Florence Johnston (Hawkins) from "The Jeffersons," Aunt Esther Anderson (Brown) from "Sanford and Son" and Clair Huxtable (Powell) from "The Cosby Show." 

The evening also includes appearances by Leon Bibb, WEWS Channel 5 anchor and Peter Lawson Jone, Cuyahoga County commissioner performing their original works at this benefit for Wake Up and Live,  a performing and community arts organization that offers artistic programs and educational services.

Tickets are $25 for general admission, and $22 for seniors and students. Tickets are available at wakeup4664 at aol.com..
