*The Play:* CVLT presents the Cleveland-area community theatre

Award-winning drama /Doubt/. Sister Aloysius, a 1964 Bronx parochial
school principal, takes matters into her own hands when she suspects
the young Father Flynn of improper relations with a black, male
student. Is she being overly protective or not protective enough?
And can she work within the system to discover the truth? A film
version was released at the AFI Film Festival in October 2008
featuring Meryl Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams and Viola
Davis.
*Roles:*
* /Father Flynn/ - He's in his late 30s, working class, from the
Northeast. He teaches Religion and coaches Basketball to the boys.
* /Sister Aloysius Beauvier/ - She is in her fifties or sixties.
She's watchful, reserved, unsentimental. She is of the order
of The Sisters of Charity.
* /Sister James/ - She is in her twenties. Although reserved as
well, there's a bit of sunshine in her heart.
* /Mrs. Muller/ - She is an African-American woman, about 38
years old. She is the mother of Donald, the boy whom Sister
Aloysius suspects of being preyed upon by Father Flynn. Donald
is also the school's first black student.

* A copy of your acting resume and a current photo/snapshot are
encouraged, but not required.
* Bring your calendar so that you can tell us any of your
possible conflicts for rehearsals.
