The American Cancer Society's Discovery Shop, formerly located at Cedar Center, has moved to 5404 Mayfield Road in Lyndhurst, 440-461-9034.? It is a resale shop and has many beautiful items, from furniture and clothing to jewelry and household items.? 100% of everything they sell goes directly to the American Cancer Society, and since cancer has somehow touched all of our lives, your support of this store is a wonderful way to help a much-needed cause.? 

Costumers will love the selection of clothing, shoes and jewelry at this clean, well-run shop, including wedding dresses, tuxedos, wigs, furs, slips, and?purses.? Lots of props could also be found:? books, record album covers, furniture for sets, toys,?and?all kinds of household items.? And, if you are lucky like I have been, you will stumble across some treasures for your own home, at very reasonable prices.

If you know anyone in the TRUCKING business, the shop could definitely use some help picking up furniture from donor's homes and transporting it to the shop.? This could be a tax-deduction for someone's trucking/moving business and certainly a referral for new business from? the store's customers needing service.?
