Only two weeks remain to catch Terrence McNally's Tony-winning comic drama, "Love! Valour! Compassion!" on stage now at Weathervane Playhouse in Akron.

Presented in the Playhouse's intimate, 48-seat John L. Dietz Theater, the show examines one pivotal summer's ups and downs for a close yet fragile group of friends. Eight gay men escape the heat of New York City and retreat two hours north to the remote country home of a celebrated choreographer/dancer. 
Over the course of three summer-holiday weekends, the men hash out their fears, resentments and their passions. At turns witty, rueful and wry, McNally's heartfelt drama reveals how a common tie can forge the fiercest and most loyal of friendships.

Director JIM FIPPIN's cast includes RICHARD WORSWICK, SCOTT SHRINER, JOHN HALLER, ZAC HUDAK, PIERRE BRAULT, JASEN SMITH and GREGG STICKNEY.

On stage now through Saturday, Nov. 15, performances are Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. General-admission tickets are $15 each. Advance ticket orders are suggested due to the venue's 48-seat capacity. The show contains adult language, mature themes and nudity.
