Resident String Ensemble at Northern Kentucky University

Please join us for an hour-long performance of beautiful string music
performed by an award-winning group of musicians who are traveling to Ohio
only to perform at this Concert Series!

 

The Azmari Quartet are prize winners at the 2006 Plowman Chamber Music
Competition and semifinalists at the International String Quartet
Competition held in the Netherlands.  Performances have been described by
national newspapers as having “relentless energy and superb intonation.”
Formed in 2003, they currently serve as the Corbett String
Quartet-in-residence at Northern Kentucky University.

 

Works by Mozart, Frank, Martin, Schnittke, and Shostakovich

 

This concert is FREE.

A free-will offering will be taken.
