[NEohioPAL] The Rapture screening at 3 festivals this weekend!

The Rapture has won numerous awards and currently being distributed in
several countries, will be screening at 3 film festivals this coming
weekend!

 

The Rapture is a feature film inspired by the awards winning short film A
Joker's Card.  The Rapture is an anime-styled sci-fi feature film written by
Johnny Wu and James Geier, with over 500+ visual effects, martial arts,
wire-fu stunts, and of course, an actual story!

 

The Rapture tells the story of two bio-engineered humans, Job and Midael,
destined to become living weapons for the military until they are spirited
away by the female scientist who created them. Dubbed "Chimaera" by the
brilliant but secretive woman they call "Mother", the two are raised in
hiding, each learning to use his own special abilities: Midael with his
razor-sharp organic metal wings, and Job with his scorpion-like tail and
ability to manipulate energy. But secrets inevitably reveal themselves, and
conflict inevitably arises, from within as well as without. For such is
human nature. And Chimaera are still human, after all... 

 

Shot entirely in Cleveland and Port Clinton, Ohio in 11 days (2 units
simultaneously), The Rapture features Ohio actors and supporters that has
been providing their timeless talent and effort to make this film a reality,
without their collaborative support, we wouldn't have gone this far. We
thank you all!
