Greetings -

Can you believe it's November already? Hope everyone had a festive Hallowe'en.

Morticia's Chair has a show coming up at the Winchester Tavern & Music Hall on Nov. 15th. The Chair has a fairly unique sound, combining elements of Celtic, pagan, medieval, gothic, and psychedelic folk over a strong rock base, to create their own blend of 'pirate rock'. Their sound has a broad appeal, to people who like everything from the Byrds, Pink Floyd, and Robin Trower, to fans of Dead Can Dance, the Church, and Peter Murphy. Playing with NYC-based singer, songwriter and actor Jann Klose (pronounced Yann), of whom Marianne Meyer, of the Washington Post says, "Jann Klose's multicultural background is evident in his music, which evokes a global pop sound."

This will be the last show for a little while, as the band will be taking the holidays off. Don't miss your last chance to see them before the snow flies! And stay tuned, as plenty of new developments are in the works. We're getting ready to bring you live streaming video - you'll be able to experience the Chair for free by tuning in to their pirate lair once a month from the comfort of your own home.
