Announcing...A New Solo Writing Class for the New Year!
WRITING ON YOUR FEET
A 3- week Intensive on Writing for Solo Performance
Taught by award-winning playwright/performer Sarah Morton
Are you interested in creating solo work, but afraid to try it, because you
think you’re
‘not a writer?’ Are you a writer or performer looking for ways to jump
start the
creative process?
This 3- session intensive workshop will introduce you to alternative ways of
creating solo work. We will move through a series of physical and
improvisational exercises to spark ideas for stories and characters, and then explore
ways to ‘get it down’ on paper and shape your discoveries into dynamic,
theatrical monologues. All levels of experience are welcome.
Workshop meets on 3 consecutive Monday evenings:
January 19th, January 26th, and February 2nd, from 6:30-9:30 pm
at Loganberry Books on Larchmere Blvd in Shaker Heights.
*Please note: Students must be able to attend all 3 sessions. Please check
your schedule
carefully before registering.
Recession Special! : $ 95 if registered by December 20th.
$ 100 after December 20th.
Class is limited to 8 students. Please register early.
