CLEVELAND PLAY HOUSE announces A CHRISTMAS STORY FOOD DRIVE

 "Triple Dog Dare to Care" Offers Ticket Discounts with Food Donations

 

Cleveland, OH (November 24, 2008) -The Cleveland Play House kicks off their
"Triple Dog Dare to Care" food drive in partnership with The Cleveland
Foodbank to help feed Cleveland families for the holidays. Starting now
through December 21, bring a donation of non-perishable food items to the
Play House box office when purchasing tickets to A Christmas Story and save
$5 per ticket (with a minimum donation of 5 non-perishable food items) or
$10 per ticket (with a minimum donation of 10 non-perishable food items).  A
Christmas Story is a live stage adaptation of the family-friendly holiday
movie comedy and runs Friday, November 28 through Sunday, December 21, 2008
in the Bolton Theatre at The Cleveland Play House. For more information,

Buying A Christmas Story tickets online or by phone, or already purchased
tickets? Patrons can still bring non-perishable food items (in quantities of
5 or 10) to the box office on the day of their performance of A Christmas
Story, and in return the Play House will give patrons a discount voucher for
a future play in their current season.

About the Cleveland Foodbank - The Cleveland Foodbank provides food and
critical nonfood products to local nonprofit agencies which serve hungry
individuals across northeast Ohio, 31 percent of them being children. In
2007, it distributed more than 20 million pounds of food to more than 440
local food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other agencies such as
