Harmony Players has announced the audition date for the Edward Albee classic, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? 
     Auditions will be held on Monday, December 1st at 7:00 p.m. at the Kathleen Howland Theater at 2nd April Galerie and Studios. 
     The Kathleen Howland is located at 324 Cleveland Avenue NW in Canton. 
     Tammy Hyde is directing. 
     Actors with conflicts on the Dec. 1st date are encouraged to contact the director for an alternative audition time ‘By Appointment’. 
     Performance dates are March 12-21, 2009.  
     A First Friday preview is planned for March 6th. 
     Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is set on the campus of a small New England college. 
     Cast requirements include two men and two women. George and Martha are an older (mid 40s to mid 50s) married couple who have a marriage that has turned into a nasty battle. Nick (late 20s to mid 30s) is the new young biology professor at the college and Honey (mid 20s) is his naïve younger wife. Nick and Honey have accepted an invitation to come back to George and Martha’s house for drinks following a college party. During the course of the play, Nick and Honey are pulled into a brutal social situation by George and Martha. 
     Those auditioning are strongly encouraged to read the script prior to auditioning. 
     The play contains adult situations and language.
