The Geauga Lyric Guild Announces Auditions for:
Fiddler on the Roof
By Jerry Bock, Sheldon Harnick and Joseph Stein
March 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28, April 3, 4 at 8:00
March 15, 22, 29, April 5 at 2:00
Directed by: Karen O'Baker Porter 
Audition Dates:
December 14 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM
at Geauga Theater
December 15 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM
at Geauga Theater
Callbacks:  December 17 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM
 
Auditioners will need to sing 16 bars of a song that best suits their voice. 
They will also need to come prepared to recite a memorized monologue.
 
ALL Roles Are Available
All ages are encouraged to audition
A fiddle player is needed
Plot:
Tevye, the deeply devout father of a poor family, invites us into his little village of Anatevka, where the traditions that have defined his life are being challenged by the winds of change.  His determined wife, five spirited daughters and a colorful assortment of townspeople bring this acclaimed musical to life.  Magically weaving music, dance and laughter,against a background of rejection and oppression,  they create an electrifying and unforgettable theatrical experience.
