The Music Theatre Program at the Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of
Music presents
New Songwriters Showcase
       Tickets: $7/Adults; $6/Seniors; $5/Groups of 15 or more.

Victoria Bussert brings the Junior class Music Theatre majors from the
Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music to Stocker Arts Center's
Studio Theatre for this performance. It's all new material from
exciting, award-winning composers. The songs have a modern theatrical
beat and a youthful vitality and view of the world. The music and lyrics
are interesting and vibrant about subjects that range from a father
being shipped off to Iraq to two teenage boys skipping school to go to
Coney Island! Please note, much of the material is by composers who use
every day language of the streets, so many of the lyrics contain PG-13
and R-rated language.

The Musical Theater Project presents
A Christmas Cabaret

A Christmas Cabaret was conceived and is hosted by local and syndicated
radio personality Bill Rudman who delved looked into the hundreds of
pages of the Great American Songbook that have been inspired by the
Christmas Season all the way back to Irving Berlin's 1916 Santa Claus to
create this holiday treat. Pianist Nancy Maier, along with gifted area
singers Jared Leal and Sandra Simon, join Mr. Rudman onstage to take the
audience on a sleigh ride of songs for the season - like Winter
Wonderland, White Christmas, Silver Bells, as well as a holiday song
George Gershwin composed at age 21, and lots more. Recent holiday
confections include Jerry Herman's The Best Christmas of All (from the
TV musical Mrs. Santa Claus) and the pop hit Just in Time for Christmas.
Come celebrate the season with this joyful holiday treat!
