Break Dancing Workshop

Ages 13 - Adult
Saturday, December 13, 2008
3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Solon Center for the Arts Studios

Break dancing is an exciting and highly entertaining form of dance

that originated in the early 1970's. Break dancers take dancing to a

whole new level, as they arrange their bodies into dance moves
that seemingly defy the law of physics! Through this dance clinic,

students will learn the four elements of break dancing: rocking,
footwork, freezes and power moves. In addition, dancers will learn
a short routine that will include famous break dancing moves
such as the "coffee grinder" and the "baby freeze".

Tuition: $15.00

dancer turned instructor. Having performed professionally with the

Cleveland Cavaliers Scream Team and other professional venues
over the years, Damon has no shortage of experience in entertainment.
Perhaps more impressive than his gymnastic flips and head spins,
is his lively, fun spirit and ability to appeal to audiences of all ages.
Over the years, Damon has taught numerous aspiring dancers of all
levels, and instructed at many dance clinics and workshops. Today,
Damon continues to offer exciting lessons, teaching both enthused and
