PLAYHOUSESQUARE PALS MEMBERSHIP

IS UNIQUE GIFT IDEA FOR CHILDREN

Cleveland, OH - PlayhouseSquare Pals membership is a unique gift for children ages 4-12. Grown-ups can introduce children to the wonder of live theater and the importance of charitable giving through this year-long membership.

"We created Pals in response to requests from members of our young professionals group, Partners," explained Michelle Ryan Stewart, director of development at PlayhouseSquare. "As they began having families, they were looking for a way to instill their love of the performing arts in their children."

Pals enjoy a special connection with PlayhouseSquare that begins with the Official Pals Packet: a certificate of membership, Pals t-shirt, Very Important Kid (VIK) access card and a keepsake souvenir. Pals also receive a subscription to their own PlayhouseSquare newsletter, a special birthday card, a free soda and snack at Pals performances and exclusive access to Pals-only events throughout the year.

Upcoming events include a pre-show meet-and-greet with cast members from Sesame Street Live: When Elmo Grows Up on February 21, 2009 and free admission to the Goodnight Moon & The Runaway Bunny Project Discovery Workshop on January 17, 2009. Performance tickets must be purchased separately.

Pals' grown-ups receive free parking at all Pals performances, discounts on select family performances and events plus the opportunity to purchase tickets for family performances, including Disney's Mary Poppins, before they go on sale to the public.

The Pals membership fee of $65 ($40 for each additional child in the same household) supports the not-for-profit mission of PlayhouseSquare. More information about Pals membership is available by calling 216-771-4444 x. 3247 or online at playhousesquare.org/pals.
