[NEohioPAL] Auditions for the musical: The Law of Love

Director, Sharon Alberson, will be holding auditions Sunday, January 4th
from 2-4pm at Bethany United Church on Broad Blvd., in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
Please note that this is a non-paid production.

 

Come and audition for "The Law of Love" (a fun, upbeat musical based on the
story of the Good Samaritan) Combines the elements of medieval morality
plays, American melodrama and contemporary church theatre, The Law of Love
retells the parable of the Good Samaritan in an exciting new way. Amidst a
cast of crooked lawyers, thugs and thieves, and a floozy innkeeper, the
message of compassionate care comes alive through music and drama. With
musical styles ranging from Dixieland and classical, to Gospel Rock and
Broadway, The Law of Love will make you laugh and warm your heart.

 

There will be two performances on Saturday, March 7th, 2009 (3p.m. & 7p.m.),
and a dress rehearsal on Friday, March 6th.  Rehearsals begin Sunday,
January 25th from 2-4 and will continue every Sunday afternoon at the same
time, through March 1st--at Bethany United Church of Christ on Broad Blvd.,
in Cuyahoga Falls.

Support is also needed.  This production is a fundraiser for Faith In Action
- Interfaith Caregivers--who provide much needed, volunteer practical help
to our elderly, isolated and homebound neighbors in the greater Akron area.
