ABOUT HEIGHTS YOUTH THEATER:
A community institution since 1954, Heights Youth Theater (HYT) has engaged children and youth, ages 6-18, in a comprehensive theater experience, developing musical, technical and acting skills in a safe, nurturing environment, and staging a regular season of shows in University Heights. The latest HYT production, Godspell, runs January 16-31, 2009, showing on Friday evenings and Saturday and Sunday afternoons. “Godspell Gives” is an audience-participation program created by Heights Youth Theatre to help promote the message of Godspell even after the show. Simple acts of charity help build a community of people linked together by one common thread – a desire to change the world for the better. HYT is supported by The Ohio Arts Council, Cuyahoga Arts and Culture and The Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation, as well as many generous individual donors, business and corporate sponsors.
