A Cabaret entitled "A Toast to Broadway"


Join singing actress Halle Morse for an evening of classic and contemporary
showtunes. A musical theatre cabaret that toasts the New Year and reminds us
that each day is a gift to be celebrated.

Halle Morse hails from Shaker Heights, Ohio. She grew up performing at
community theatres and then professional theatres all over the Cleveland
area. She has worked for and trained with Cynthia O'Connell, James Thornton,
Terri Kent, Victoria Bussert, Fred Sternfeld, Brian Zoldessy, Terrence
Spivey, Scott Spence, and many others. Favorite Cleveland shows include West
Side Story at The Porthouse Theatre, Reefer Madness at The Beck
Center, Children
of Eden with Sheri Gross, and Pippinas the Leading Player. Having performed
in venues across the country, Halle most recently played Little Inez in
Hairsprayat the Sacramento Music Circus in California. She received her
Actor's Equity card performing at the St. Louis Muny Theatre in
Oklahoma! starring
Georgia Engel and Hello, Dolly! starring Randy Graff. Halle is currently a
senior pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre from one of the top conservatories
in the country, Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music. There, she has
performed in many shows, including Urinetown as Little Sally. Halle also
directed The Colored Museum at CCM and has choreographed in the Cincinnati
area. Following her graduation in March 2009, this small town girl will say
"Hello!" to the Big Apple as she ventures to fulfill the career of her
dreams.


Halle is thrilled to have the opportunity to perform a premiere
one-woman-show at Nighttown. She will be accompanied by Ed Ridley.
