SENSATIONAL STORYTELLING (Grades K - 1) Booker

Monday

4:30 pm - 5:45 pm

Session A: January 5 - February 23 *No Class 1/19, 1/26 or 2/16

Session B: March 2 - March 30
* This exciting class will give students the opportunity to learn many
unique story telling techniques. With the guidance of instructor Sean Booker
the class will explore storytelling through puppetry,            mask work
and pantomime as well as conventional narration. Students will also have the
artistic benefit of constructing their own puppets and masks. The final
class will culminate in a presentation.
*Tuition: $70.00 per session includes materials fee



FUN WITH FAIRYTALES (Grades 1 - 2) Chicotel

Tuesday

4:30 pm - 5:45 pm

Session A: January 6 - February 3

Session B: February 10 - March 10
Explore the art of storytelling in this educational class. Instructor
Dominick Chicotel will incorporate theater exercises and games
while encouraging students to develop one or more performance pieces. The
final class will culminate in a presentation.
*Tuition: $65.00



ACTING FOR THE CAMERA (Grades 1 - 2) Booker

Friday

4:30 pm - 5:45 pm

Session A: January 9 - February 6

Session B: February 13 - March 13
* Lights, Camera, Action! This exciting class provides a whole new element
of acting for young performers to explore.
Sean Booker will explain the important techniques specific to acting for
film and television.
*Tuition: $65.00



EVERY DAY MAGIC (Grades 3 - 6) Brooks

Thursday

4:30 pm - 5:45 pm

Session A: January 8 - February 5

Session B: February12 - March 12
* Instructor, Magic Mike Brooks and his assistant, Miss Carli, will teach
every day magic to young and aspiring Houdinis.
Students will learn slight of hand tricks with everyday objects and see how
professional illusions are really done.
At the end of class students will have a few tricks to take home to wow
their family and friends.
*Tuition: $70.00 per session includes materials fee



TEACHING THEATER (Ages 17 - Adult) Chicotel

Wednesday

6:45 pm - 7:45 pm

Session A: January 7 - February 4

Session B: February 11 - March 11
* Dominick Chicotel will share his years of experience teaching theater to
students ages 5 to 50. Participants in this class will learn
games and techniques appropriate for many levels of educational theater as
well as curriculum organization.

ACTING THROUGH STAGECOMBAT (Grades 9 - Adult) Madden

Tuesday, January 6 and Thursday, January 8

8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Through increased physical awareness, students will learn how stage combat
is safely executed. In this two night master
class
professional stage combatant Steven Madden will explore not only basic sword
work but also teach effective ways of telling a dynamic story through stage
