Join singing actress Halle Morse for an evening of classic and contemporary
showtunes. A musical theatre cabaret that toasts the New Year and reminds us
that each day is a gift to be celebrated.

Halle Morse hails from Shaker Heights, Ohio. She grew up performing at
community theatres and in television, and then on to professional theatres
in the Cleveland area. She has worked for and trained with Cynthia
O'Connell, James Thornton, Victoria Bussert, Fred Sternfeld, Brian Zoldessy,
Terrence Spivey, members of Pilobolus Dance Company, and Cleveland City
Dance, among others. Favorite Cleveland shows include West Side Story at The
Porthouse Theatre, Reefer Madness at The Beck Center, Mercury Summer Stock's
Fame as Carmen, Children of Eden as Yonah with Sheri Gross, and Pippin as
the Leading Player. Having performed in venues across the country, Halle
most recently played Little Inez in Hairspray at the Sacramento Music Circus
in California under the direction of Gray John la Rosa. She performed at the
St. Louis Muny Theatre in Hello, Dolly! starring Tony Award winner Randy
Graff and Oklahoma! choreographed by the legendary Gemze de Lappe and
starring Georgia Engel of The Drowsy Chaperone, better known as Georgette
Franklin Baxter on The Mary Tyler Moore

In 2007, Halle produced and directed The Colored Museum at CCM and
freelanced as a choreographer in Cincinnati area productions. Halle is a
proud member of Actor's Equity Association. Following her graduation in
March 2009, this small town girl will say "Hello!" to the Big Apple as she
ventures to fulfill the career of her dreams.


Halle is thrilled to have the opportunity to perform a premiere
one-woman-show at Nighttown. She will be accompanied by Ed Ridley, Jr., who
has played Nighttown on several occasions, including Everybody's Boppin' and
as a featured soloist with the Roy King Tri. Ridley has also been the
pianist for several productions at the Cleveland Playhouse, Karamu, and at
the Hanna Theater at Playhouse Square.
