TRI-C WEST  announces auditions for 

Little Shop of  Horrors 
Composed by Alan Menken and written by  Howard Ashman



PARMA – Cuyahoga Community College  Western Campus Theatre Department 
announces auditions for Little Shop of Horrors  Composed  by Alan Menken and written 
by Howard Ashman January 12th,  13th, with callbacks on the 14th at 7 pm in 
the Western  Campus Theatre located at 11000 Pleasant Valley Rd. in Parma.   
Auditioners will be asked to sing 2 contrasting songs (Broadway and pop 
acceptable for this  audition) and come dressed for movement. No prepared monologue 
pieces required. This production is directed by professional director and Actor’s 
Equity  member, R. Scott Posey. 
About the play:   
A down-and out skid row floral  assistant becomes an overnight sensation when 
he discovers an exotic plant with  a mysterious craving for fresh blood. One 
of the longest-running Off-Broadway  shows of all time, this affectionate 
spoof of 1950s sci-fi movies has become a  house-hold name, thanks to a highly 
successful film version and a score by the  songwriting team of Howard Ashman and 
Alan Menken. 
Auditions:          January 12, 13, callbacks January 14 at 7pm 
Running:           April 24, 25, 30 and May 1, 2, at 8pm 
April 26 May 3 at 2pm
