Stage to Screen Acting Workshop
~Beginner to Intermediate Acting
Age 9-15 Children
Age 16-up Adult
Workshop 1:
Gain the knowledge and ability to smoothly transition from stage to
film. Taking what the actor already knows from theater acting, and
building a bigger repetoire to use for film acting. The actor will
learn the difference between theater and film acting, when and how to
use the techniques learned. Through improvisational exercises,
monologue work, and on camera techniques, the actor will complete the
workshop with the knowledge of how to be a film actor in today's
entertainment industry. How does an actor find work in Cleveland?
You don't have to move to LA or NY to start a career in Film, but you
do need the dedication and knowledge to succeed. That is what the Stage
to Screen Acting Series is all about. It is using the skills you
already know from prior acting sources, such as theater, and
transforming them in a way that makes you a more versatile actor.
