Here’s a brief look at what’s happening in the Historic District of Downtown
Medina!

 

Maidens IV bring Folk and Celtic melodies to Medina! (Saturday, February
7th, 2009)

Tickets are now available for the February 7th, 2009 8:00 pm concert held at
Broadway Hall!

Don’t miss the chance to hear these regionally acclaimed, talented sisters
from the Ohio heartland.

Tickets are available at either Medina Buehler’s stores, at Miss Molly’s,
Marie’s Café, Main Street Café, Whitey’s Army Navy, or charge on credit card

Ticket prices:

*         $25 adults, $20 for seniors (over 60) and students, groups of 10
or more, and Main Street Medina members

 

Medina Ice Festival, presented by KeyBank (February 13-16, 2009)

Mark your calendars now for a fantastic, four-day Ice Festival, February
13-16, 2009, with additional support by Elegant Ice and Main Street Medina

The event will be held in and around Public Square. 

Spend your day wandering the historic district and seeing magnificent works
of ice art. 

THREE Ice Carving competitions, corn bag toss tournaments, and other
family-friendly entertainment all weekend long.

Sales Leakage Workshop (Monday, January 26, 2009)

Join the City of Medina Economic Development Office and Main Street Medina
for this one day seminar explaining what sales leakage is and how it can
negatively affect your business and Main Street Districts. Jill Clark,
Director of the Dept. of Agricultural, Environmental and Development
Economics with The Ohio State University will lead this educational
workshop. 

*         Session will run from 10am-2:30pm with a box lunch break

*         Space limited to first 80 people. 

*         $10 for MSM members, $20 for non-members (includes box lunch)

*         Seminar held in the Medina Library first floor community room (210
S. Broadway)

Medina County Showcase: An Afternoon of Discovery (Sunday, January 25, 2009)

Please join us, and many others, this Sunday, for a free showcase of some of
the finest independently owned businesses in Medina County! 

*         Sunday, January 25, 2009, 2:00PM-6:00PM, Admission is FREE!

*         Entertainment & Appetizers provided, Cash bar for all beverages
