East Cleveland Theater will hold auditions on Sunday, January 25 and
Monday, January 26 at 7p at the theater.

 

"Wait Until Dark"

by Frederick Knott 



Mystery and suspense take over our theater as a blind New York City
housewife tries to outwit the manipulations of a murderous trio in this
wonderful two act thriller.

 

The following roles are waiting to be filled by all of you wonderful
experienced actors:


Susy Hendrix - blind since her auto accident one year ago, still
vulnerable - mid 20s- 30s 
Sam Hendrix - photographer, former Marine - mid-late 30s
Mike Talman - small time con artist, ex-con - late 30s-mid 40's
Sgt. Carlino - same as Mike - 30's- mid 40's 
Harry Roat - sinister, a killer - 45-55
Gloria - 9-year old girl from a dysfunctional family. Smart,
independent, can be a brat at times
Policemen (two needed) - "the cavalry to the rescue" at the climax of
the play (limited rehearsal time)

 

East Cleveland Theater is a non-traditional, multicultural center.  AEA
contracts are not available.
