*Directed by Don Edelman *

"Director Don Edelman has taken on a heady, strong work in "Doubt"
and made a compelling, gripping production at CVLT. His actors have
a very clear sense of what their characters believe, and when they
interact with such strong motivation, fireworks are the inevitable
    result."

CVLT presents the Cleveland-area community theatre premiere of John
Patrick Shanley's powerful Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning drama,
/DOUBT/, starring Eric Oswald as Father Flynn, Harriet Deveto as Sister
Aloysious, Cheryl Winslow as Sister James and Sharonn M. Foxx as Mrs.
Muller. Each performance will be followed by a discussion with the
director and cast. This is the play that became the heavily touted movie
in theaters now... don't miss your chance to see the play!

"Sister Aloysius, a Bronx parochial school principal, takes matters into
her own hands when she suspects the young Father Flynn of improper
relations with one of the male students. This gripping, tightly written
mystery confronts issues straight from today's headlines, and was chosen
as the best play of the year by more than ten newspapers and magazines."

Chagrin Valley Little Theatre is generously funded by Cuyahoga County
residents through Cuyahoga Arts and Culture and is supported by the Ohio
Arts Council.
