[NEohioPAL] Open Auditions - Camelot

The Coshocton Footlight Players are proud to announce that they will be
holding open auditions for Alan Jay Lerner's "Camelot" on February 22nd and
23rd, 2009. The production will open on May 8th, 2009 and run each Friday
and Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. until closing night, May 23rd, 2009. The
production is directed by Shane Pyle with musical direction by Robin
Coffman. Camelot will conclude the Coshocton Footlight Players 60th
Anniversary season.

 

There are multiple parts for men, women and children (ages 10 and up) in
this musical based on the King Arthur legend adapted from the T.H. White
novel "The Once and Future King". Actors, singers, chorus members, dancers,
musicians and backstage helpers are encouraged to attend. Those auditioning
for a singing role are asked to bring a piano score, CD or cassette tape for
accompaniment. Singers and actors will also be asked to read a short excerpt
from the script. Singing roles are King Arthur, Guinevere, Nimue, Sir
Lancelot, Sir Lionel, Sir Sagramore, Sir Dinadan, and Mordred. Acting roles
include Merlin, Pellinore, Morgan Le Fey, Lady Catherine, Tom of Warwick,
Squire Dap and Clarius.  

 

Auditions will be held at the Grace United Methodist Church, 422 Walnut
Street, Coshocton, on Sunday, February 22nd at 2:00 p.m. and Monday,
