Nominations Open for Arts Business and Innovation Awards 

 

The Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE) is pleased to announce that
the COSE Arts Network is now accepting nominations for the 2nd Annual
Arts Business and Innovation Awards.  The awards recognize a unique
point of intersection between the art and business worlds, one where
artists focus on business issues and small business owners focus on and
support the arts community. Nominations will be accepted through March
2, 2009.

 

Winners and finalists will be recognized in four categories:  Individual
Artist <http://cosearts.org/Awards/artist/> , Arts Business
<http://cosearts.org/Awards/business/> , Arts and Culture Community
Champion <http://cosearts.org/Awards/Community/> , and Young Arts
Entrepreneur <http://cosearts.org/Awards/Entrepreneur/> .  The awards
will be presented at the Arts Business and Innovation Awards ceremony on
April 23, 2009 at The Cleveland Play House.  

 

Winners will have the opportunity to win a $1,000 cash prize, in-kind
business services, a free year of COSE membership and a host of
promotional and visibility opportunities through COSE.  Each of these
services will help to support the growth and prosperity of arts based
businesses in Northeast Ohio.

 

Both self applications and peer nominations of artists and businesses
are being accepted. Interested parties may log on to the COSE Arts
Network web site at http://www.cosearts.org to access application forms
