[NEohioPAL] Actors for 16mm Short Film

Hello!
I am a film student looking for actors for a ten minute short 16mm film to
be shot on the weekend of February 27th, 2009.  Most of the film is set in
one indoor location in Lakewood Ohio, with some outdoor shooting required
for the lead actor only.  This is a dramatic short focusing on the damage
family relationships can cause over the course of a young man's life.
Actors and parts detailed as follows:

**LEAD:  Tom - Twenty-five to Thirty-five year old white male.  Tom is a man
who has repressed his anger at his father's distance, with a tragic result.
This actor will carry the bulk of the dialogue, and will be present in
nearly every scene.  The actor will have to portray the same character from
a young boy through an embittered man.  Most of the scenes will be inside at
the same location, but this actor will have to do some exterior work at
several locations.

SUPPORTING:  Jack- Late Thirties to Sixty year old white male.  Jack is an
emotionally unavailable man who pays little attention to his family.  The
actor will be in about three quarters of the scenes, with minimal dialogue.
The actor will have to play the part in a range of ages.  The actor will
have to use clothing changes, makeup and temporary hair dye to achieve the
aging effects needed.

SUPPORTING:  Lucinda - Thirty-Five to Fifty year old white female.  Lucinda
is a relatively unhappy mother and housewife who hides beneath a thick
veneer of fake good cheer.  The actor will be in several scenes.  The actor
will have to play the part in a range of ages.  The actor will have to use
clothing changes, makeup and temporary hair dye to achieve the aging effects
needed.

SUPPORTING:  Emily (older) - Twenty-Five to Thirty-Five year old white
female.  Emily is a sympathetic character, but one who long ago realized
that her happiness lay outside the family.  The part is in one scene, with
minimal dialogue.

SUPPORTING:  Emily (Teenage) - Sixteen to Twenty-Five year old white
female.  Emily is a sympathetic character, but harbors no illusions about
her family.  She is concerned about Tom, but very much has her own life.
She will be in two scenes, one with a large amount of dialogue.

SUPPORTING: Eight to Twelve year old white boy. No dialogue. Minimal
interaction with other characters.

All actors will get a copy for their reel and credit on the film and
notification of any festivals or theaters that the film will play in.
