Rehearsals:
	* Rehearsals will begin March 17, 2009.
	* Rehearsals will usually run Tuesday – Friday  6:00 – 9:00 pm., and some weekend dates.

Audition Requirements:
	* The Government Inspector has Characters for both Teens and Adults.
	* Karamu is Seeking both actors and actresses of all Nationalities ages 10 and up.
	* Please come prepared for movement and improvisation.
·         Check your calendar for any conflicts before auditioning (see “The Government Inspector” performance dates and rehearsal dates above).

About the Show
This satirical Russian comedy tells the story of what happens when the Mayor and several other self-important officials of a small Russian town mistake a small-time con artist for an important government official. Hypocrisies are exposed and foolishnesses revealed as the officials offer increasingly extravagant gifts in order to placate and impress their visitor at the same time as the visitor becomes more reckless in his greed.
In this Karamu Production, The setting has been re-located to somewhere in the Good Ole’ U.S.A.
