The Clague Playhouse Gallery presents an exhibit of watercolor paintings by Lakewood artist, William Thornton Wilder, M.D., during the run of the adult comedy, Regrets Only, from Friday, February 27 and through Sunday, March 22, 2009.
 
During his 40 years of Internal Medicine practice, including 30 years as the medical doctor for the Cleveland Indians, he found time to dabble in pen & ink drawing, acrylics and oils.  Upon retirement in 2000, “a whole new world of art opened up” when he was invited to join the Aquarelle Watercolor Society where he has honed his skills under the direction of many accomplished watercolorists who teach at their weekly sessions. 

Dr. Wilder loves painting landscapes, in particular the Clifton Beach area near where he and his wife of 50 years, Sara, live. They have three grown children and five grandchildren several of whom are budding artists.

The lobby gallery is open during Box Office hours, Wednesday through Saturday 1:00-6:00pm.

A free reception for patrons follows the Friday, February 27 performance where there will be an opportunity to meet the gallery artist and the cast. 

Clague Playhouse is located south of Detroit Road off the I-90W Clague Road Exit.  Free parking as always.
