Beck Center is proud to announce auditions for.......

EVIL DEAD~~~The Musical

Appointments are being taken for the following two dates:

Monday, Feb. 23rd from 5PM to 7:30PM
and
Tuesday, Feb. 24th from 5PM to 7:30PM

You may call 216-521-2540 for an appointment beginning immediately. Please prepare one brief? (90 seconds or less) up-tempo musical number that shows your range. Bring sheet music in your key. No???????? a capella auditions please. An accompanist will be provided.

Performance Dates: May 8th thru June 14th, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only in our intimate, and soon to be bloody, Studio Theatre.

Rehearsals will gruesomely begin in late March or early April.

All roles are dangerously open except the character of Ash. See character descriptions below. These roles are for NON-Equity actors only. No further contracts will be offered for "Evil Dead~~~The Musical". A stipend is paid to all performers over 18, and you MUST be 18 or over to audition for "Evil Dead~~~The Musical". 

ROLES

Ash (Has been cast--Dan Folino)
"All my friends are here,
For the best spring break of the year
Away from school and from S-Mart
For a week way off the charts."
Linda~~~A college student and girlfriend to Ash.
?"A holiday with Ash
All that I'd ever ask
He's so cute and thin
And that's why I love him!"
Scott~~~Ash's college friend and a real horndog.
?"This will be just like camp
But with a slutty tramp
In a few hours you will see me
Doin' the nasty in a tree."
Shelly~~~Scott's most recent conquest.
?"Scott's looking to get busy
But fresh air makes me dizzy
I'm so his perfect girl
Oh look there goes a squirrel!"
Cheryl~~~Ash's sister. The odd girl out.
"And tonight I'll make some snacks out of?Hershey bars and Chex!"
Annie~~~An overeager explorer and owner of "the cabin".?25 to 30 years old.
Eddie~~~Annie's doormat of a companion, later a doormat of a zombie. 25 to 30.
Jake~~~A mysterious hick...physically imposing. 30 to 40 years old.

These are all amazingly good roles. Eddie, Scott?and Jake need strong bari-tenor voices. The ladies range from Alto belt to Mezzo w/ belt and mix.
