[NEohioPAL] Call for Script Submissions - The Dark Room at CPT

Cleveland Public Theatre is currently accepting submissions from writers
for consideration as the featured reading during upcoming Dark Room
events.

 

The Dark Room, a co-production of Cleveland Public Theatre and the
Cleveland Theatre Collective, is an ongoing event held on the second
Tuesday of each month. The Dark Room affords emerging and veteran
playwrights the space and resources to develop new works.  It is a venue
to workshop plays, novels, poems or any other written work in a
supportive, yet critical environment through readings of written work by
local actors or, in some instances, the playwright themselves. The Dark
Room is a place where the writers take center stage and their work has a
chance to grow.

 

Writers wishing to be considered for an upcoming Featured Reading should
email scripts or other written work to Mindy Herman at
mherman at cptonline.org or Josh Brown at joshdbrown at att.net. 


The monthly Dark Room schedule is as follows:


7:00pm - Writers can bring up to 10 pages of work to be read
7:30pm - Readings begin
8:00pm - Featured Reading begins

The Dark Room takes place at the Church at Cleveland Public Theatre
(On the CPT campus, just east of the Gordon Square Theatre)
